Black Creek Sod Inc began in 1977 supplying top quality sod both retail and wholesale in not only Green Bay, Appleton and Oshkosh, but all of Wisconsin and the U.P. of Michigan.

Now as a third generation owned family farm, along with an outstanding crew of hard working employees, we have expanded to over 300 acres of premier quality turf, grown on the rich black soils located around Black Creek, Wisconsin.

At Black Creek Sod, we are dedicated to growing the very best Kentucky Bluegrass Sod and Poa Supina Shade Tolerant Sod that will perform best in our northern climate. To achieve this end only the highest quality cultivars of seed are planted. After almost 2 years of nurturing, the turf is ready for harvest. Using the first state of the art harvester in northern Wisconsin assures the most uniform width, length and thickness of cut possible. We harvest the sod daily on a per order basis so the sod is at its freshest. Having our own fleet of trucks equipped with forklifts allows for prompt and courteous delivery.
